Under The Cola Colored Sky

Yep, still in Utah. The Cisco router is kicking my ass all around the place. I know, I know...RTFM! I can't wait to get out of here after the the last two days. It's just one damn thing after the other. Anyway, enough bitching. At least the weather here is better than back home. And we are planning a barbeque type thing at one of the customers house possibly Friday night. That'll be fun. They are good guys, even when they nit-pick. Oh, and tommorrow is salsa day. That guy makes some kick ass salsa. My arse will be angry with me the next day. I guess that's all that is going on right now...work, work, work.

My co-worker just arrived in a Lincoln Town Car. Holy shit that is a nice vehicle. Beats the hell out of my Taurus.

What do you think?

This is me:

I need a haircut.

All These Things That I've Done

Boo ya! I think most of those problems I was having the other day have been solved. The one pissing me off the most was this damned Cisco switch that would not ping or be pinged. After trying everything, I restored the factory settings and started over. It worked!

So, there ya go. Anytime you need to reset a Cisco swith, visit my blog.

Not much else going on here. We are working alot. I'm sick right now. I keep going to bed after midnight and I don't know why. I forgot to get my hair cut before I left, so I'm going to look like a damn hippie by the time I get back. Oh well, I've got no one to impress here.

Useless

I feel overwhelmed right now by my lack of ability to fix problems. I won't bore with the details. I hate this feeling.

My trip home was relaxing and sad. We buried Grandma on Friday. This was very different compared to the other deaths I've been faced with. I saw it coming. I don't think I can say that about any others. I don't know if it made it any easier. Initially I think it did, but when you first walk into the funeral home and look around, it still sucks. Thanks to all the well wishers. We appreciate it.

So, now I'm back, two doors down from where I left. The weather here sucks, but should be getting warmer. I got the satellite radio on my Ford Taurus. I listened to Howard Stern today. I think he's very over rated, and I don't think he's going to be as successful now that he can do whatever he wants. I could be wrong.

Sorry to Shirring this weekend. I used him to get a ride home Thursday night, and then didn't even hang out with him. It was a tough weekend, yo. I owe ya.

Coal Fired Combover

I guess there is not a whole lot to report from Utah. I've been working 10-16 hour days. Just today I finished everything I expected to do during this trip. Tomorrow I roam around helping where I can. Tomorrow we are driving Tom to Salt Lake City because he doesn't have a car and he flies home Monday morning. I like eating at good resturants and I think we are planning on eating at a great seafood joint called "McGrath's". I miss my family so much. I hope my little girl doesn't forget about me. Wife, you better be showing her pictures of me.

I was just googling for pictures of a combover some guy (I think he's a contracter) has at the plant. It's really, really funny. Imagine a tiny bald spot only an inch above his ear. From that white hair jets out in every direction covering the rest of his head. I've never seen anything like it. Coupled with his Harry Carrey eyeglasses, it is quite a sight. I'm going to sleep now. Send me comments, blog-buddies.

It is very, very loud right here.

Gonna break my rusty cage

14 hour day....not too shabby. So tired.

Shit! Did I miss Scrubs?
