Vader's famous line to Skywalker in Empire Strikes Back, is also one of the most misquoted in movie history (the actual line being "No. I am your father," and the commonly quoted line as "Luke, I am your father."

We just say Luke, I am your father because your name is Luke. It wouldn't have the same effect if someone walked up to you and said, "No I am your father", now would it.
