"I fashioned a spear out of something."

I ended up going out Saturday night after I didn't think anything was going to happen. I met Shirring and Lauren at BW3, and Terri showed up for a while until she had to go pick up her brother.

I was telling them about my story of getting arrested in Waite Hill back in 1996. I don't know if I was really arrested. Probably more like detained. There were no handcuffs involved. I'm sure they've heard this story more than once, but I don't have many stories and they were talking about how the police like to ticket people there for no reason. Where was I...ah, so there we were, four of us, fishing in what we thought was Willoughby Hills. We didn't catch shit that day and I was starting to get pissed. On the other side of this large pond or lake (I'm not sure at what point a pond becomes a lake?...Shirring?) was a small, shallow pond filled with these very large carp. I decided to fashion a spear out of something, probably a stick I snapped in half. As I attempted to spear fish I saw a dull yellow pickup truck drive by and soon after that we were busted by the police. Apparently the yellow pickup was the land owner. We were fishing in a bird sanctuary....in Waite Hill no less. The police took us in, and I remember sitting at some big conference table for a while before my brother came and picked me up. We were pretty nervous for a while because the police captain kept telling us we were probably going to go to DH for what we did. Jesus, it's not like we were shooting birds there. It's a good thing they didn't find the bottle of cheap vodka we brought down there. The only thing that happened was that we had to go to the county juvenile place and talk to a court referee or something, and they told us we'd have this on our record until we turned 18. I don't remember what that meant, but I knew it wouldn't be a good idea to get arrested or detained or whatever until after I turned 18. So, that's pretty much my best story that doesn't have to do with staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Allentown...hahaha. Ok, that was a pretty sad story. I stink like smoke and I'm tired now. See ya. Stay tuned for another hottie tomorrow.

that is an excellent story - I never heard it... who knew you had a record! haha. i'm glad you guys kept the BW's tradition - i love it there. I, on the other hand, was busy staying up all night dealing with some white trash domestic dispute, because the 19 year old girlfriend refused to press charges on her boyfriend, I had to as a rep. of BGSU and now have to go to court.

Anyway, the hockey game was sweet, sorry you couldn't get out here to see it. BG beat Michigan... and there was a fight between some drunk students from both schools. all in all... a very violent but fun weekend. i think i am coming home next saturday, will let you know. later

I was already home and getting ready for bed when Shirring called and said they were going to Mentor after they changed their minds.

I text messaged you when as soon as I got off the phone. I didn't call because I thought it was too late and didn't want to wake anybody.
