CP Frustration

This past weekend we went to Cedar Point. The boy won a free ticket from doing a candy sale so we've been planning on going for quite a while but never set a date. Sunday morning we went on a whim (wim??) at the wife's suggestion. It turned out to be a great day to go. I thought it was perfect amusement park weather. Towards the very end it got just a little chilly, but we dressed for that anyway.

The frustrating part is with the park. I think it's mostly me because I HATE change. They razed White Water Landing this year to put in next year's new roller coaster. Not only do I hate that they are getting rid of rides I have some sort of nalstagic feeling for, but they are tearing out more trees to put in the new rides. The part of the park they are installing the new ride at is one of my favorite sections. The tree canapy there is beautiful. The whole place is turning into a parking lot. I have to admit it wasn't as bad as I thought it was after seeing it firsthand, but it still sucks though. Remember when there used to be wild turkeys running around the park? Well, here's one view that hasn't changed a whole lot...


I guess the only thing that has changed is my cuffed pants, and my dad's hair. Zing!
