Trips

I finally got my itinerary nailed down for my big Utah trip '06. It is as follows:

April 3rd - April 14th

Yay! I'm home for Easter!!

April 18th - May 2nd

Last year was actually more. I had 3 trips during a 3 month period. This is just one. It is going to be a really....really...really long month. But on the bright side my overtime is going to kick ass. I better see everyone online a lot. I'll be bored. I think I'm going to learn my Italian while I'm there though. That will be good.

Hurray for Fun-tah!!!!! See we're having...fun.

They do have a habit of keeping me there a few days. I should be home by the 9th for sure! I better be. Why are we doing something fun, that the boys can attend too?

I would like to go to Utah, there's lots of exposed geology there.

Did you know that Kirtland is the Mecca for Mormans and we have the highest population of them on the east coast? They first settled there and were chased out. I worked with a woman who's father ruined the founders "miracle." Apparently the parishners wanted him to perform a miracle to prove his godliness, so he decided to walk on water. (This woman is in her 90's and from Kirtland) They placed a board under the water for him to walk on and her Dad went under it when he was walking on it and it cut it lose so he'd fall. Then they failed to make payment on their limestone and were chased out in the middle of the night by the law. They ended up in Salt Lake!

I know my customers visit there alot when they are in town for business. I can't believe how much money they have to give to be a part of that religion, it's nuts.

Hey - maybe when you're in Utah, you can pick up another Wife! Polygamy, though against the law, isn't enforced in any way. You could bring the current wife out there, pick up another and voila! Scratch-sandwich!
