Ramblings
Not quite 10 years ago Soundgarden broke up. The other day Audioslave effectively broke up. I was hoping to see them in concert sometime. Poop. I missed my chance. Next time one of my favorite bands come to town, I'm going to try like hell to go.
Speaking of bands, I had a chance to see one of my future nephew's (brothers, fiance's, son[hahaha]) band. They were playing at a place called the Grog Shop in Conventry. My brother-in-law and I got there fairly early so we had a chance to see a couple of other local bands. The first band was called "Substance". I thought the lead singer sounded a lot like Kurt Cobain. The next band was called "Cliff and the Clavins". The were very entertaining, well to me anyway. The best part was that lead singer looked just like Shirring! I could see him fronting that band. It was funny. Anyway...Osyrus played and they kicked ass. I'll probably be going see them again soon. As for Cliff and the Clavins, they said that was their last show! Damnit!
In other news, as I was posting this the animal planet taught me something new. There is a bird in New Guinea that is poisonous. What would have thought? It's called a Hooded Pitohui. Pretty neat.

I love the new Grog Shop. It's still a little dive bar/club, but it beats the pants off of the old Grog Shop, which was a SHITTY little dive bar/club. HAR!
So, what's the deal with this Osyrus? Who do they sound like?

I'm really bad at classifying bands. They are alternative (I know, that's kind of broad.) I can send you some MP3s though.
