Tub Jam


Ahhh...will you look at that? My tub is draining like a champ. Mary's husband Garry came over and helped me replace the pipe. Actually I helped him...kinda. He kinda took over, but he did a great job.

In other news, I heard this past weekend that Pearl Jam was stopping in Cleveland on May 20th. Now, I'm poor. But I'd whore myself out to get tickets to see them again. I went to see them about 3 years ago, and I thought it was an awesome show. They only thing that sucks is that they are playing at "The Q", and if the tickets are in the nose bleed, it's really not worth the ticket price. I'm almost thinking about wasting $20 and becoming part of the fan club so I can buy the tickets in advance. I think I deserve it. We'll see what happens.

    Yea, I guess I should be specific on who I'd whore myself out to. Good call.

    I forgot to follow up about the actually clog. Glenn's comments a few posts ago made me realize this. They circle jerk on the one picture (did I really just say that?) isn't where the clog was. The snake was just unable to navigate down the 90 deg curve. The clog ended up being at the very end where the pipe connects with the large cast iron pipe. Along with a glob of hair, there was a little plastic bottle there. I'm sure the hair would have made it through a bit easier if that had not been there. I think I remember those bottles from a few years ago with some soap or shampoo the boy was using. I'm glad that's over with. The whole thing only cost me $20 too. Not too shabby.

    Yea, I'm very thankful for the help. And I don't know how the hell that bottle got through the S-trap. Good thing though, I really don't feel like replacing that thing just yet.
